Stressed black girl covering ears |
While
reading tech news in smartphone, Amelia's attention diverted her tween Arthur,
who seen perturbed after returning from school. When enquired the reason about
his condition, replied he was not shortlisted in team of ice hockey match. She
tried to woo his sad face but failed.
The next
day, when mommy's son was in school, her mom clad in jumpsuit visited bookstore
to buy a book for him. She asked bookseller to recommend a book for tweenager.
The book that was recommended was The
Book of No Worries by Lizzie Cox.
On enquiring
the reason, bookseller told in brief that reading this book will help to keep
children's worries at bay. The main topics discussed in this book are
friendship and social pressure, family issues, school and academic stress, body
image and puberty, emotional health, mindfulness and relaxation, self-esteem
and confidence and dealing with change included. It is often observed that kids
aged 9 to 12 confronts new situations that seemed hard for them to cope in
their growing age. In that scenario, they will stay focused and optimistic
after solving their everyday issues after reading in this book.
After listening bookseller advice, Amelia thanked for giving good book recommendation, she bought book, returned home and handed over to Arthur to read.
