The Historical Fiction WW2 Novel The Polish Nurse is written by author Leah Moyes and consists of 263 pages.

During the world war 2, past in year 1941, 16-year-old Polish girl Aleksandra saved her life taking shelter. It was the time when she went into school but found herself in uncertain situation and the Germans were advancing towards the Poland to occupy. 

Later when Aleksandra along with her schoolmates forcefully dumped into the truck, reached into strange place after covering miles. The name of that unfortunate place was Lebensborn, infamous for kidnapping beautiful girls having blue eyed and blond-haired, had one purpose and that was to take care of born Nazi soldiers children and that German facility was running under the program of “voluntary reproduction”.

Luckily Aleksandra and her accompanied girls got the chance to escape when cavalcade en route to Berlin came under bombardment. So they run for their life, but it was the new environment and they had to disguise their identity to live.

When Aleksandra reached in the German city of Dresden, had to take the job of nurse. Gradually as time passes by, amid the ongoing World War 2, her concealed Polish identity begin to unveil, but despite the fear of caught up she was resolute in her plan and optimistic reunites with her family in Poland.
