Albeit John Midas was a wonderful boy, behaves well but he was mad about candies and chocolates. John loves to eat cotton candy, old fashioned toffee, lemon slices, jelly beans, nougat, acid drops, lollipops, fudge, candid orange, peppermint sticks, cracker jack, black currant lozenges for ticklish throats, marrons glacés, and marshmallows.

Midas craze about candies and chocolates so much that he spent all his pocket money on buying them but in comparison, his friends prefer to purchase ropes for skipping, models of aero planes, pet lizards, magazines and other physical activities stuff.

Midas so kind toward his sister, he often had to be as tiger to put his sister Mary into sleep. As long as John's was getting satisfactory grades in class at school, he continued to get appreciation from Miss Plimsole, teacher. At orchestra, Midas used to learn from his music teacher Mrs. Quaver for playing lessons on trumpet in glowing golden color in school.

Midas has an enjoyable house to live. The huge trees around prevents to reach direct sunlight to his house and provides shelter. John even couldn't rest without climbing on the trees on his house. Midas mom is pragmatic and tender. He listen knowledgeable facts from his father on topics like birds, boats, butterflies, baseball, brigands, and nests.

Midas neighborhood town known for two things, one for keeping best choice in marbles and other there lived a girl named Susan Buttercup because of her delicate attractive beautiful face. The color of eyes of Susan Buttercup was blue and shape of cheeks in round and pink in color. 

John habit of eating sweets, candies and chocolates so much made red spots on the end of his nose. At first, her mother saw, and when she enquired how that happen, John replied that he took candies before eating meals. On hearing this, she took him to Dr. Cranium for consultation who was not very young but had lean body, no hair on his head and color of his mustache was gray. When Dr. Cranium examined him, John's irregular diet plans came into his knowledge. John needed to pass a test involving a hammer before Dr. Cranium to check how healthy he was.
