At New Hampshire, residents were encouraged to come and give their auditions for a theatre play, Tom Lake. The day was Saturday, but before the auditions began, there must be arrangements in hand to escape any hassle, these instructions were given out by Mr. Martin who was a director of play. The school gym was selected for auditions. One of the respondents, Veronica, who was entrusted a responsibility from organizer to look after everything in place was instructed to arrive first. So she get off from her home and arrived early.

When the gates of Community Theater opened, the people from the town began to reach, Veronica and her counterpart also had those novels, Firestarter and Doctor Zhivago to read in spare time. People of all ages, young and old, came for the auditions. The documents to be provided by theatre role player applicant was comprised of filling of farm and providing passport size picture but In case if someone had no picture then Polaroid camera was available for instant taking picture.  There was mixed response among them, some were outstanding but others below average so couldn't reach the expectations. The grandmother of Veronica also there who was just seeing the auditions of aspirants reading the lines at stage. The tailoring of stage actors dresses to be carried out at Stich-It, the shop that was owned by Veronica's grandmother.

While picking up fruit from family farm located in the north of Michigan, the three daughters of Lara insisted their mom to share them her experience and memories spent with actor Peter Duke whom she performed at theatre before audience. So Lara recalled her joyous moments of Tom Lake.
