Thirty years American couple Leslie Matthews and her husband Tom, were commuting in the taxi in New Delhi to reach zoo, Leslie sat in the back seat while Tom in the front seat, the traffic noise, pollution had perturbed Leslie, looking out through the window, she contemplating how the people of this metropolis got used to live in this environment. She disliked the way the Indian taxi driver drove his car through narrow road for taking short cuts. On reaching the zoo, when they disembarked from taxi, beggars and push cart vendors had encircled them for money. Leslie of white complexion, was in traditional Indian shalwar kameez, wished to help financially them all so after giving some money by Tom, she moved through the crowd but regretted when she saw the plight of poor children.

Inside the zoo, their attention diverted from white tigers to innocent poor girl Raveena who was being harassed by rogue people in front of public. Leslie got angry and wondered when she saw no one doing nothing to save her. When Leslie got closer knew Raveena being watched by her caretaker but silent and expressed no signs of regret and shame for the sake of money. Leslie saw torture stains on neck and face of Raveena, tried to took her away from beasts but couldn't go further and had to give up.

When Leslie reached her hotel from zoo, had regrets, lost in her thoughts about that little Indian girl sitting at the pool side, and said to Tom she wanted to go back into the zoo to know the whereabouts of Raveena. Leslie steadfast she wouldn’t rest in peace until perpetrators those behind heinous crime exposed. 

Leslie recalled the incident when she visited outside in the village alone from when Tom went outside for his research project during their stay at guesthouse in rural area some time back, group of male villagers approached her, touched in inappropriate way in front of crowd, so Leslie strived to escape from and managed to reach back. But when she recited horrible incident in her shaky voice before Tom in distress, he mocked her and told that those men must had wanted to greet her with hospitality.
