The inhabitants of Red Mountain knew Otis Pennington for finest making winemaking, growing grapes, in his vineyard that was located in eastern Washington. Otis who was an old adult man became alone and widower when his wife had passed away. Otis loved his wife that he hadn't let go off air her ashes but kept secret. Most often, Otis had to scare and run them away from his vineyard wild dogs and coyotes when they howled at the moon. Otis was fond of reading books of English writers and some notable names were William Shakespeare and Winston Churchill. The loneliness of Otis couldn't be borne by his aunt Morgan and she begun looking for a girl for perfect match of marriage.

Margot Pierce became single mother after divorcing from her husband Simpson who was a mayor of Burlington, Vermont, wished to relocate into Red Mountain so she bought inn there and came along with his son who was not very social in school with his school mates but like to plays piano with fine tune. Before filing her divorce papers, Margot wished to kill his ex-spouse with a kitchen knife when he was came home but only in her thoughts and not in reality. Margot was living in her fantasy and liked to stay in daydreaming. She distressed when love affair of her husband with office secretary was exposed and known to everyone by press.   

Although Emilia Forester was the daughter of famous parents whom world knew but despite all of that Emilia wished to create her own identity and to achieve that she was the student of creative writing class from creative writing teacher Joe Massey at Belmont High School. Emilia's father was a famous musician and she belong to wealthy family. Emilia had achieved good grade in her creative writing class assignments. One day when Emilia was called up by her teacher alone to discuss her deepest creative thoughts, fell in love, wished to express his feelings of love but she couldn't opened up despite her desire of making love.

Brooks Baker who worked as winemaker in Jake Forester's winery, fallen in love with one of her coworkers Abby Sinclaire. At work, Abby knew Brooks used to look at her but she couldn't understand why he still not shared his feelings of love. Brooks was hesitant in expressing his love, one day he let his feelings out and let her knew he loves her. But before, Brooks was an orphan who spent his living his life on streets. 

When the time came, Otis, Margot, Emilia and Brooks found themselves in one famous vicinity of Red Mountain. When they tried to live their own life, met with each other but stayed away from sharing their past backgrounds and kept secret. But despite all of this, unpleasant happenings begun to took place around them against their wishes.
